Judge him, I mean Bernie is on massive money and hes a bit stinky, Gomes was always up and down and I think the injury has affected him more than people think, mentally, but I've no issue with people calling Bernie, Delph, Iwobi, Gomes and others bad buys.

It hasn't been great, but hes signed us some very good players, so after 3 years, yeah, I was expecting more, not gonna sugar coat it, I've no issue with people judging him, but bringing up players we had on loan last season as a dud that Brands has stuck us with, when hes not even at the club?

Yes and no, Brands bought him for his talent, he didn't show it here, but hes showing it there and we will make a profit on him, somebody we buy, who flops, who we then sell for a profit isn't a dud, IMO, you might have different criteria.

He still signed them - I have no doubt had Sidibe turned out to have been Cafu but was snapped up by some elite club after his loan spell here he would have been hailed as one of his success stories.

No matter how its spun he's spent £250 million in 3 seasons to stand still and a good few players he has signed are not just suspect ability wise but also mentally - Delph and Kean both arrogant, Gomes and Iwobi gutless.
 
This summer has been his most successful and it's no surprise it's with the best manager since Moshiri took over.

Director of Football works with the Manager:
Carlo - Allan, James and Olsen
Brands - Doucoure, Nkounkou and Godfrey.

In the past it has been disoriented and a series of panic buys but this season has been excellent under management which hasn't been in sync.

I would be very happy and confident if Brands and Carlo are working to find those final players.
