The logic of a DoF in an unstable managerial situation makes sense i.e. if you expect a high turnover of managers to ensure a strategic plan for the team. It doesn't feel like a strategy is being followed, though.

The top clubs also spend a lot of money, which is probably the deciding factor more than having the DoF

If the FFP rules get relaxed and we're able to pump money in and can afford to cast managers aside and when needed then maybe we can look at a DoF system, but right now we're not in that situation and I don't see a benefit of having one at this current juncture

Sack Brands, leave the position open for a season or two and then maybe come back to it down the line

We've not benefited from a DoF as far as I can see, I see no way we will benefit in the near future and if anything I'd argue going to the DoF model has actively taken us backwards as a club

It's not working right now. Put it on ice and maybe look at it again if our circumstances change

This man has known we’ve needed a RB for 3 years. He tried to address this by bringing Sidebe in on loan 2 years ago. The fact we’re going in to this season with Seamus Coleman and Jonjoe Kenny in that position is total negligence. As is the fact he’s left the squad with one LB. Total incompetence and the club need to get shut and sack this DOF role off now.
