Onana in a Bielsa system could be fantastic to watch…

Here’s to days in our near future without the loonies mate.Mate I wish we had gone for Arteta and I wish he turned up around I just fear that it doesn't matter who is managing the team cause sadly the loonies are managing the asylum.
remember it well: -Just look how it wrecked John Stones’ confidence when he was here.
Haha you are joking, Stones was one of the most confident defenders we’ve ever had , Cruyft turns , telling the Park End to “ calm down” , he was hardly a wreck when he left us . You seem to have a personal agenda of blaming the fans for everything. They trapped his car, didn’t they? And then banged on the windows etc.
But even verbal abuse can be damaging to a young player. Just look how it wrecked John Stones’ confidence when he was here.
Sam drove us crazy and got us 8th spot.No unless short term, his football would drive us crazy
….you clearly haven’t read the player threads on here.
It's not about the players being "as good". I agree that they are not "as good" in a general footballing sense....that is partly why Jesse March ahs also struggled. Bielsa's style is all about constant pressing. If you look at the physique of the team he had at Leeds, most were very lanky and lean - common body type of endurance runners.
I don't think that we have many in our team who could cope with that style. If I were to guess, perhaps the following players could - Iwobi, Dacoure, perhaps Onana (but have no idea really), pre-COVID Godfrey could have, not sure if he's fully back up to prior standards, Dominic Calvert-Lewin? Maybe Patterson.
For one we'd have to sell Gordon as soon as possible....he's huffing and puffing after 80 minutes now. Coady and Tarks are both too old to play in a Bielsa set up. Imagine Coleman! McNeil is WAY too slow, even if he has the stamina. Gueye is too old.
For me it would be the worst possible choice. If you simply want a manager that would get the players to work, give Ferguson a chance. Maybe he's learned a thing or two from Ancellotti.
Yup.Sam drove us crazy and got us 8th spot.
I’d take 8th in a heartbeat right now!!
Wasn’t stones the player who was in tears in a service station after a game as fans were giving him grief when he was like just 20 years old?Haha you are joking, Stones was one of the most confident defenders we’ve ever had , Cruyft turns , telling the Park End to “ calm down” , he was hardly a wreck when he left us . You seem to have a personal agenda of blaming the fans for everything.

Not condoning, the inference was physically on him, was it not? Bunch of "yoof" knobheads acting like "yoof" knobheads do is not wholly indicative of our fanbase in ay way, Society maybe full of idiots like this it is still a very small element and they were rightly called out for it but they DID NOT physically go for him! Or put him in a headlock! Unlike our board member!!They trapped his car, didn’t they? And then banged on the windows etc.
But even verbal abuse can be damaging to a young player. Just look how it wrecked John Stones’ confidence when he was here.
When did this happen?we have a fanbase that has become toxic and has taken to physically attacking young players like Gordon.
Very true.I'm all for this but quite why he (or any other person) would want to manage Everton is beyond me. Hiding to nothing.
