When Koeman lost the plot, yes. And still was even after Allardyce was appointed.
He'll do well enough here. He'll face some tough times though so I hope those praising him now dont turn on him. That's happened before.
...it'd have been Martinez, surely?@davek Was SIlva your first choice replacement?
I don't think with Martinez, Koeman or Allardyce even, the fans turned on them due to results or league position. The issue in the case of Koeman and Martinez is that it appeared like they had lost the players and that they didn't know what they were meant to be doing, at times appearing utterly clueless and it was hard as a fan from the sidelines to see what the they were trying to achieve. Allardyce was purely due to playing garbage football (as we all expected). As long as we see progression in what he is trying to achieve and the players bought into it and giving 100%, I for one would accept finishing any where in the top 12 (not what I would hope for though)I was fully on your side regarding the appointment of Koeman (I had somoen who sits near me argue when I said his football is hopeless and he'll take us down in his early games)
I'm impressed with Silva so far - but it's only been two games, if we lose 2 matches on the trot, or linger in the bottom half, I can see him receiving the same retribution from our fans as Martinez did.
Martinez had the support of a lot of fans for a lot, lot longer than he deserved it to be honest. At the point he was sacked we'd won 6 of our last 30 league games (only 1 of those against a team still in the PL 2 years later), it was absolutely horrific stuff. If Silva has a run like that then the crowd will most certainly turn, and rightly so.I was fully on your side regarding the appointment of Koeman (I had somoen who sits near me argue when I said his football is hopeless and he'll take us down in his early games)

This should be a fun thread to follow this season.

I suspect an away Everton supporter must have bummed Clive of the Kremlin in a Watford convenience...he sounds very bitter toward Everton, doesn't he? lol
Quite right too ...the last 2 seasons of his tenure were abysmal which some people conveniently forget whilst praising him for 72 points.....lets see whether Silva is more flexible, and actually 1) practices defence 2) has a plan b....early days yet. That’s what happened with Bobby.
He's a wum and not even a good wumI suspect an away Everton supporter must have bummed Clive of the Kremlin in a Watford convenience...he sounds very bitter toward Everton, doesn't he? lol
I think it goes deeper than that (literally and figuratively). I reckon Clive's received a 'length of loving' from an Evertonian and it awakened in him desires he'd always repressed. I suspect he cannot wait for the Watford vs Everton match this season...He's a wum and not even a good wum

Makes my blood boil thinking of that lazy sod Koeman. Golfing and holidaying, clueless recruitment and squandering 10s of millions.
