I agree with this but it still doesn't really relate to what I said?

To me the managers have all served up similar levels of dross. Martinez was a breath of fresh air first season. Then the players seemingly couldn't think for themselves. You instances of limited footballers keeping hold of the ball for too long because it was Martinez's "philosophy". A good intelligent footballer should know when to keep it and when to get rid regardless of anything else. They should also know how to defence a set piece, you get taught that in school.

Moyes is a loser. He was a loser with a plan though I suppose.

Through all the managers since Moyes we have suffered through shocking decision making on the pitch. Basic stuff in a lot of cases. Everyone says we need a leader, and we do because leaders usually have some form of intelligence to them. Right now its like we make the same mistakes but nobody bothers to rectify them.
Seems to me like we keep making the Mike Walker mistake again and again in recent years. We want to play more stylish football, and that has become our number one target (or at least it seems that way), but it keeps leading us down the wrong path.

Fergie - played good football, but everything was built on hard work.
Shankley - The same
Wilkinson - teams worked as hard as any
Clough - Always wanted his teams to work hard first and foremost.
Kinnear - The dogs of war!
Matt Busby - Was organized, hardworking and teams had flair.

Just seems like we keep being too focused on style over substance.

It got worse since Moyes left. We aren’t even 6th and 7th nowadays we won nothing too.

The "big 4" has gone to a "big 6". We are still pretty much in the same position. That dull position where nothing happens but its a bit harder to qualify for Europa embarrassment.

We are boring which is kind of mad to say after having like a million managers in the past 2 seasons and spending loads of money on weird players.

Stevie Clarke for me

Done an amazing job for Kilmarnock when you consider his budget

no more welsh league style managers. unless Kilmarnock win the Scottish league and then go on to at least a champions league semi final it would just be a wasted gamble.

Clarke has failed 3 or 4 times in England already hasn't he ?!

Also sick of hearing managers to be sacked left right and centre. We've had 4 different managers the last 4 seasons, has that made us closer to the top 6? No.

That’s because we keep getting the appointments wrong. So either we stick with a manager who appears out of his depth, or we put our faith in a chairman and owner who have appointed and subsequently fired their recent awful appointments.. so basically would you rather die via drowning or immolation?

Whilst everyone should crave stability, there’s no stability to be found by retaining a manager just because you don’t want us to be a “sacking” club. At this very moment he’s performing abysmally and is not warranting being here at the start of next season. There’s an argument to be made as well that if he goes and Brands is placed in charge of finding the next manager then perhaps we will finally begin to see some stability.

£13.5m Niasse £13m McCarthy £4m Besic £3m Tarashaj £2m Galloway it’s more than that.

I just think he's a crap, one dimensional manager. I might end up looking like a tit if he turns things around, but I've seen nothing to suggest that he will.
There's players like Richarlison, Lookman, Bernard, Gomes and Gylfi at his disposal - these are not crap players!! He hasn't got a clue what to do with them.
He's another bust, I'm pretty certain of it.

Look Clarke is a very, very good coach. Is not a “Welsh League” manager. But he is not what we need at the current time.

I might consider it if he got the Celtic job and did well, but not at this stage.
