Taking Sigurdsson off killed what little creativity we had.

Sigurdsson struggled but taking him off was not the answer. Marco had to find a way to bring him into the game. Instead he hooked him off for another striker.
Very, very poor decision.

Few possibility mate.
Players don’t know what to do when it comes to zonal defence.
Silva has no clue how to make it work.
We have players too static for this to work.

It’s not even acceptable anymore. It’s alarmingly bad for a professional manager to repeatedly let this happen.

Reminds me of Arsene Wenger and his lollipop defence.

I think he knows how to play it. But the execution of it has been horrendous

You cant do it against a team like that. That's why another type of forwardf and tactic was required.

I look at his last two seasons with us. I could manage Belgium to fourth in the WC with all that talent; Martinez the genius should have managed them to the title.

Today we were without the below and basically Walcott for half the game. Six of them slot into our best XI. Wasn't a great performance today and needs to punt zonal marking, but I trust him to get it right in time.
