Yeah he is deffo gonna be going to a club that wins thing like Spurs mate, the same Spurs who last won the league in 1961 (we've won it 4 times since then, last won the Fa Cup in 91 - we have won it once since then. last won a trophy in Europe in 84 - we have won it once since then. but they did win the league cup (snigger) in 99 and 2008.

So what your saying is he is destined to go some-place like Spurs, the same spurs who have won two league cups since our last trophy, but who we have won a FA Cup, a European cup, and 4 league titles since they won the same?

Managers around the world must be looking on with envy at league cup wins....

and no mate he won't wait two years at you - purely because you are Watford and we are Everton, you aren't and have never been relevant

Completely missing the point, I dislike Spurs probably more than you do, however they currently look like a team that might win something. I'm sorry but Everton don't - and you can't deny that. Blackpool won the league many years ago nobody calls them a challenging club. As I said earlier the days of Lineker, Reid and Southall were a very long time ago.

Yes Everton are a bigger club than us. I didn't say they weren't. However whether you like it or not you're currently not one of the big clubs in the premier league. Your firmly in the middle chasing pack. I think your current lowly league position will be short lived. However Marco could well find himself at a really big team like Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs when he completes his 2 year contract with us.
Everton are a big club, one of the biggest in England. Have we been succesful since the start of the Premier League? Sadly no, but it's the history of a club that defines its standing in the game. The current top 6 in the PL are lightyears ahead of us and it will take a lote of time, money and effort to start closing that gap.

Now, don't really know that much about Silva, but the Everton challenge certainly and without a shadow of a doubt is an awful lot bigger than the one he faces at Watford. Moving to Everton will see his personal standing in the game improve immediately and that's by no means meant to be disrespectful to Watford.

Don't think there are any nothing clubs in the world of football, as they all have a place in this beautiful game (well except MKD possible), but if you can't see the lure for Silva in getting the Everton job than you're either blind for the truth or in total denial.

We're one of the greatest institutes in British football. With all respect to Watford, there are far bigger clubs than them currently playing in the Championship, hence even in League One.

We won jack with Lineker.

But carry on.

This is the problem mate our money will talk us to about 7th. Then all the richer clubs will remain above us.
We’ve probably got a more expensive squad than Spurs. We’ve been spending on par with Liverpool and Arsenal recently. It’s just a shame we have idiots in charge of recruitment.
