Finally have you considered why setting a price which would be indicative of the most expensively paid manager would be set, when on the flip side you gave him a 2 year deal on 2.5 million quid p/a.
If I had a manager who's compensation figure was 35 million a year id sure as hell sign him to a longer term deal and pay him the going rate. Your board not doing this is not indicative of some genius leadership you are going on about.

I hope for your sake, their indecisiveness over accepting 10 million cost you.

You haven't said no decisively enough to stop our interest.

Why would you ask 50 million for a lad you signed up for 2 years on 2.5 million a year? Either your board are completely inept or you are lying (again).

If you lose Monday I sense we offer 10 again. You best hope your board take it, because if they fail too you are heading for the sort of post March slump you usually have in November. Can you see yourselves surviving that?

I like Watford and I think Silva would be a good choice. For Watfords sake I hope they accept 10-12 million so you give yourselves a chance to turn around a wretched run of form.

If you don't, we get a different manager, maybe Hiddink and are ok. You won't be though mate.
