If it's true it's another example of the boards total incompetenceof you sound out the situation properly before you go all in like this.Saying that Joyce is the only source I trust.

Depends on where he's getting stuff fed from then mate ultimately.

Again though the line about him maybe having to force the issue by resigning is for me an interesting choice of words to use.

If this had come from Hunter at The Guardian you'd have to sit up and take notice. The Indy though are hopelessly out of touch with all things Everton.
 
..it’s clearly not good news. If true it means Watford are holding firm. I presume Silva has told them he wants out but that has come to nothing so Everton announce they are walking away.

This looks dead unless Silva really, really wants the job.
Now I assume Watford have an unhappy manager!! Interesting how this pans out

I do agree on the wording used. It's intriguing, to say the least.

However, I'd like to see King/Joyce/Hunter/Bascombe or McNulty's take on this.
