Everton have no plans to sack manager Marco Silva at this stage but club bosses are keen to see a turnaround in fortunes quickly, Sky Sports News understands.

Lower down in the same article he writes this:

There has been no official indication either way as to how the current position the club finds itself in is being viewed by those in power at Goodison but it would be folly to believe that their current Premier League predicament is not being discussed by the hierarchy in some detail

In other words he didn't actually have a clue and was just making it up and speculating but posted the headline as a factual 'in the know' statement. This dishonest reporting of his went viral and was rinse and repeated by practically every news source and social media and within a few hours was taken as fact even by many Evertonians, many of whom still follow him and take what he says as fact from an in the know without ever checking the reliability of the information for themselves.

Mind boggling.

He is insane, I don't get how he isn't embarrassed by himself

Never wanted a manager to succeed more than Silva of all the managers we’ve had since Moyes but to be honest he simply has to go.

Losing to all three promoted clubs, two of them at Goodison, is unacceptable and he can have no complaints if he’s given the bullet.
Same with you wanted him to be successful, seems like a decent man but yesterday has just broke me. The team that he started with just told me he has no clue even when it’s in his face. I had no problems with the team besides Sigurdsson and Tosun should of Been iwobi and Calvert-Lewin or kean. Just so slow going forward no movement iwobi makes a massive difference in the whole just his movement helps. Me and brother had to watch that in the cold then go straight to work from the ground. Anger at the moment for my club is just sad.
