As a fan base we’re just too passive. Imagine the RS being 16th. They would be burning the place down, I don’t know about spraying some naughty words on a wall. I don’t condone it btw.

Silva has struggled to figure out a tactical plan that gets results and is clearly also unable to maintain confidence levels and motivation among his players BUT I still think we're just not very good and a change of manager wouldn't suddenly make us better. Still no striker of any regard, sold our best player, lots of "okay" players remain but there's a massive lack of real quality AND we've had a particularly unfortunate injury in Gomes. The best we can hope for is Silva to stay and slowly turn it around, or someone to come in and get a few battling one-goal victories. We're still miles away from competing at the top end of the league.

No he won’t get anything really. However if it’s tarnishing his reputation and he starts to physically hear the abuse week in week out, he may go regardless of waiting for a pay off.

I’d refuse to go and fleece them out of everything I could however you never know with some.

The club took ages to get FS this time they’ll be just as slow and we slip further down the league

I know everybody is getting a bit heated on here - but we really don't know what's going on behind the scenes. I know Everton as a club are world famous procrastinators but perhaps they don't want to announce anything until things are sorted out.

For all we know Silva has already been sacked and the board are working on his replacement? No point mentioning anything until its all sorted

The problem is, and always has been, under Silva is that he won't change it.

The moral of the team is at its lowest yet he'll be there, trying to get his 4.2.1.3 formation to work, wanting them to pass it around with zero threat, and we'll get turned over.

Agree I think we have more chance of getting anything from the next few games if Marco is sacked.
