Honestly, I thought we played well. You can bemoan the subs but sometimes it just doesn´t go your way. Last kick of the game with VAR isn´t as much game management as it is terrible luck.
You have to look at how we conceded our goals and you will find a common factor in both. That wasn't down to bad luck it was down to poor play by the common factor.

As TOM Davies give the ball away AGAIN
It’s annoying to lose like that, but it may be a bless if it means the end of Silva, we are in very big trouble with him in charge and a point today might have saved his job for the time being. Even with out board I think they might think now enough enough.

You can't blame Silva for the goal, but it was over for him weeks ago and a shambles he has not been relieved of the job.

I would suggest the decision on who gets the job now is perhaps the biggest in the clubs history, and to be taken largely by Bill Kenwright it seems.

We are in deep deep trouble and when your luck is out, it is well and truly out it seems.

I worry that we will just collapse completely now in the games to come. It's a brave manager that takes us on in this state.

That's the kind of game that a month ago would have shown some promise, that the players are still fighting for him, we've got some good players etc.

But it just feels so pointless at this stage. We need someone new (not a Moyes or Howe) who can get this team playing as competently as that every week but who will bring the results with it.

He did, though. He made no changes that helped Everton today. Schneiderlin for Lewin? Kean for Iwobi, the best player on the pitch? It makes no sense.
Iwobi the best player on the pitch ?

I apologise for my previous comment then as I was clearly watching the wrong game today.

Wouldn't have him managing under 12's in Stanley park, never mind a prem manager

worst I've seen at Goodison I think, certainly the most gutless

Surely sacked now? Tomorrow morning announcement.

After 1-1 he wanted a draw, that was criminal and costed us 3 points, not 1. LCFC was there for the taking, but this guy is such a loser

Today’s result wasn’t Silva’s fault, and it was really sheer bad bad luck. And awful players being bang average, Silva lost his job a few weeks back

People saying its not his fault, it is.

His team

His selection

His tactics

His philosophy

His shithousery, dithering over subs, playing it safe going for draws.

He isnt good enough, not for hull not for watford not for us.

Make no mistake, this is our level. With him in charge this is our level
It is his fault, today wasn’t really the problem, it’s what’s gone before. Even last season the cracks were showing, some fluke results at the end of last season saved him, but I was never convinced.
