It's because he was 4th with Watford after 10 games or something.

He then went on a terrible run of defeats didn’t he? Which many put down to him having his head turned by us, his club included. Which as we can now see by current events at Everton is clearly not the case, the man is just an appalling manager who just got lucky with a decent run as he did with us towards the arse end of last season when everyone else’s season was virtually finished and their places were secured.

It’s incredible how Moshiri just had an instant hard on for Silva. Where there many other clubs even being linked with him around that time? I just can’t get my head around it.
