Here we are. Slate the manager, standard practice in football. Not the defense who go missing whenever a bit of pressure is applied. Two goals from set pieces and I dont even know what that their goal was. The formation is solid and gives a good platform for our forward players to create chances as we saw last season. Problem is when your defenders keep switching off the platform is gone and we are left chasing the game. Our play hinges on digne and Coleman, if one of them has an off day we just about get by but if both do we are fudged. Coleman needs a kick up the arse imo.

Nothing tells me we are going to get any better with him in charge. The Millwall game was a massive eye opener for me. All got papered over with some results from last half of last season.

He's a good manager with a poorish set of players, tbf.

Poor mentally more than talent wise.

Every team is a reflection of its manager though.

My concern is we've set up with the same formation and tactic for pretty much the past 12 months. We're too easy to defend against. They had a mad attacking team out there today and contained us easily still.

In danger of losing his job by the end of the season if he doesn't figure out a style that can win us away games. They never seem settled, organised or passionate in away games. If our workrate drops compared to at home, we look atrocious and even more unimaginative.

Truly truly depressing football lately. Completely lack any penetration going forwards and defensive errors creeping back in. 10 goals shipped in 4 games is inexcusable.

He won't last long with team selection and setup like today. The players aren't believing and it shows.

Nowhere near good enough to Manage Everton this man. There will never be consistency with him and it really isn't difficult to see why. Only a bell end changes a team that had just won both their previous games and scored 7 goals in them. We were in trouble before the whistle went and everyone could see it except him.
