Always thought it was strange decision to go all out for him the way we did. His achievements have not been that impressive at all. I was willing to give him a chance though, but it’s wearing a bit thin this now.

If we are as ambitious as they say we are we should have gone out and got someone who has won things.

We don't have enough money to spend for Mourihnio. He is a big spender

We've spent £200 million in 2 Transfer windows under Silva

We spent £50 million under Allardyce in 6 months

We spent about £200 million under 18 months under Koeman

Its a complete myth that we dont spend money.

Very few clubs in world football can outspend us in reality.

I thught it made perfect sense, and still do: we have owners who want and budget for a 6th place finish. He can compete for that...and he will again this season.

If we want better, then get richer owners.

Like who tho?

Ronald Koeman and Walter Smith are the only 2 managers we have ever appointed that are proven "winners", how did that work out for us?

I remember the start of the season Sky were lording our current defensive record, past 14 games only City had conceded less I think it was.

WTF has happened to our defending again, both those CB's need benching after today but we can't because we have no quality cover, Delph had a shocker as well, by far his worst game for us.

It doesn't matter what the manager does when individuals defend like that and can't do the simple basics.
It's the dumbest "stat" to be lauding. What happened last season has NO bearing on what happens this season. Same with them fapping over the RS' "FOURTEEN WINS IN A ROW" stat. Why anyone thinks what happened last season should count towards a different one is beyond me.

How much was clawed in to spend all that?

We churn. We rob Peter to pay Paul, by and large. Overall, that's what we've seen under Moshiri.

Moshiri: just wants a stadium built. That's it. If a manager delivers best of the rest or 7th = that's ok.

We are not set up to succeed. We haven't for a long time, and anyone stating that Moshiri is a difference is talking though the top of their hat.

Even outside of the point about his relative lack of resources (which isn't in debate anyway), I don't think there is any evidence to suggest Moshiri adapts anything other than a part-time interest in the day-to-day affairs of the club.

The club needed, and needs, absolute reform from the top-down as opposed to the status quo at board level we ended up with. Years on, and everyone on the board should be Moshiri appointees, and in the run-up to those changes, Moshiri needed to have been an almost dictatorial figure akin to Abramovich in forcing through the changes needed, kicking and screaming if required. More of the same leads to more of the same.

A good manager in any profession learns from their mistakes, improves his team through coaching and good man management. I'm not sure he is capable of doing that. Football ,like any business ,is results driven .Its up to him to prove that we are wrong in doubting his ability to take us to the next level.
