They were the home team it should of been expected ? it was never going to be a walk in the park as some seemed to think it would be..we are yet to beat them there in the league so I had realistic expectations. A draw was the best I saw coming, disappointed we threw that away ?? Hell yes but it's not the end of the world and the team obvs needs more time to gel. Also except the sh@te the teams around us lost so were still in an okay position regardless
I agree not the end of the world, but we can’t be content with continuous abject performances with the get out clause that we need more time

I see AVB is doing well at Marseille..

hes got a Prem win of around 50% with spurs over 150 games.. and won numerous trophies in lots of different leagues...

One of many worth a look. But it won't matter, anyone you suggest will be ridiculed - Silva obviously deserves more time. Mental to think otherwise.

I want him to do well, I think he could do well, I think he deserves more time...but he is bringing pressure on himself with the away performances. Rather than kicking on from the end of last season and getting some credit in the bank behind him he’s back to being a few bad results or a cup exit away from people calling for his head again. Last season was turn around, this one has to be progression, if he can only manage more of the same then questions will inevitably come his way and he’ll have no one to blame.

He has to pick his best team home and away (one that does not include DCL and Schneiderlin). He needs to make subs away from home that signify going for the game not hanging on for a point.

Very much like Unai Emery at Arsenal, who managed to piss up a virtually secured Campions League position up the wall, Silva has bought himself very little leverage from his first season which puts him under much greater pressure - than say Roberto Martinez was under in his second season.

That 8th position, which was only secured thanks to a scorching run of home results towards the end of last season, is going to be very quickly forgotten about if we look like replicating our December to February form.

Silva really needs to settle on a team and system soon to accommodate the options he has. On the face of it, dropping someone like Sigurdsson who is one of our most reliable goal scorers might seem foolish but this ridiculous second striker role that Silva has him play is really hampering Gylfi's effectiveness and our team as a result. Surely trying a 4-3-3 won't hurt?

Honestly if big sam would have served up that dross yesterday, he’d be hung out to dry. And this team has had so much more investment. The buck stops with the manager. He ain’t good enough, we all know it, like we all knew we’d get beat. But we all hope........and then when the manager gets sacked, no one complains

I've said it before, we have some really quality players but our style of play is boring and industrious. Our key players are not effective and that has to be the fault of the manager. Look at how Leicester have improved under Rodgers. Same players yet he has a style of play that is high tempo and exciting. It was dull yesterday and even more frustrating when we have Kean and Bernard sitting on the bench, two of our most dangerous players. And Schneiderlin?? Why?

Leicester have got one point more than we have, and scored one goal more than us. Brenny has hardly left us trailing in his wake.

Too early for sacking calls, I know we have Sheffield United first, but in terms of the season and for Silva's job, he must win at Sheffield Wednesday next week. If we go out the cup again in September then something will have to change. If anyone was offered 10th place and to win the Caribo Cup right now, everyone would take it
