Mate he has been at teams with money to burn. Lukaku, Pogba a good 150m...Man Utd can get away with it we can't. He has made himself into a chequebook manager and hasn't managed a team without unlimited resources for many a year. He does well when he splurges then goes and sulks accuses players etc to the demise of a team which leads to his sackings. If he came here he would have to lower himself and go back to his beginnings and build a team..not tweak but build. I do not think he would do that and I don't think he would be good for the club in the long term.
And that's fair enough mate. I understand that there's a number of very good reason why he'd never work out as our manager. I just think it's a bit mad to say that he's destroyed anyone he's ever managed when he's done nothing but win stuff everywhere he's ever been.

As I said, he's never gonna touch us anyway so its a moot point tbh.

Same but we just seem to be getting worse, dreading the next game already, think I'd have Jagielka back over these two centre halves, Keane needs dropping asap, he terrifies me, no aggression for a centre half is a terrible trait. What doesn't help Silva is he's playing the same players week in and out that are just not performing, Schneiderlin, Sigurdsson, Keane, I can see no hope atm.
His days are numbered imo.

He couldn't possibly do any worse then Silva or Koeman or BFS or Rhino or Martinez. It's mind blowing to me that some of our fans could seriously dismiss a manager like Mourinho!

When has he ever "destroyed" anyone btw? At Man Utd where he won them two trophies in a single season and gained entry to the champions league in the process followed by a second place finish? At Chelsea where he won the league along with loads of other honours in both his separate runs and became their most successful manager ever while doing so? At Inter Milan where he won the treble? At Real Madrid where he won the league and cup? Or at Porto where he won everying he could domestically and in Europe including a UEFA cup and champions league back-to-back? If that's being "destroyed" then bring it on here!

Never gonna happen anyway, he wouldn't touch us with a dirty stick.

Its what is missing in his footballing legacy, is taking a club like ours and getting them winning trophies... I would have liked to have seen him with us. Believe he is a busted flush with these big clubs.

I said he would destroy us not his other teams because we are not in the same league as his previous clubs football wise or financially. He does good with the finances but his ego takes over and he distances himself from players and the boards of clubs leading to a backward step.

I'll never understand why the club worked so hard to sign Silva, the man who relegated Hull City....Get him OUT before it's too late!

What I don’t understand is that he plays DCL week after week when he doesn’t score, the guy finally grabs a goal last week and he doesn’t bring him on when we are chasing a game at home and swinging crosses in right left and centre. Baffling.

Lets be honest that goal shouldn't have stood anyway, and his overall performance in that game was nowhere near what is expected from an Everton No 9. His omission today was warranted but I don't understand Silva's perseverance with Schneiderlin who is a worse player than DCL.

That Walcott for Coleman sub was diabolical today.

Reminds of Walters last month's in charge...

The problem is there isn't a lot of good managers about that we can take unless Moshiri wants to pay some serious dollar, I mean you can say Allegri and Mourinho but imo they won't consider us.
I think today was the final straw with me and Silva I wanted continuity but man he blew all his cards today and failed horribly.

Maybe an ego driven born winner is what we need here. God knows that we've had enough lovable loser as our manager in recent years. I just don't think that he could ever do any worse then his predecessors TBH mate. He'd have to take more then a dozen sharp amd severe blows to the brain and be both drunk and high before he was on a par with Silva as a manager!

Worst manager since Mike Walker, fact.
Yes I can understand sacking Sam, but not without a proper replacement. What worrys me, can we trust Moshiri to find one?
He isn't

He's shown so far this season to be - on the whole - very poor at a time when we should be kicking on.

He did some good things last season. And I think as a coach he's a good one, especially in regards to improving players and players enjoy working under him.

But tactically he is being found out and not currently doing anything to change it, which is worrying and will only end one way.
