I think some fans are saying whilst neither are world class surely if we couldnt attract a Mourinho or Allegri then surely managers like Rodgers and Pellegrini are attainable and could do a half decent job with the finances at the club/quality of player already here?

Or are we destined to only appoint 38 year old Portuguese 2nd division hipster novices in the hope 1 out of the 80 odd may turn out decent?

Don't think Brands was in the loop with his appointment. This ones entirely on Moshiri.

He also had two of his best attacking players in Yarmolenko and Lanzini out injured most of last season (and Arnautovic not arsed following January)

I think he's a half decent manager myself who would have us in the top 6/7 right now instead we think we are better than what we are (we are like that teenage hipster with a top knot) and are sat in 15th as a result of it.

I wanted rodgers in decembar, documanted. He was ok with them, fighting for title with suarez, young sterling, when suarez left and sterling wanted to go they were no longer good team. Great spells before and after

We have a good team being used in the wrong way no two ways about it, This squad is better than West Ham's, I'd give the edge to us over Leicester but they have beat in some departments.
This team can challenge the top 6 comfortably finish top 7 but we aren't because wacky Marco is sticking to the same gobbledegook that got us beat by Sheff United and Bournemouth.
