I’m not an Eddie Howe fan particularly, but sneering at him whilst we have Silva in charge seems a tad strange to me.

He’s brought a team through all levels of the English leagues, not the Portuguese Fray Bentos league.

Has a debt on spending of 180mil in 4yrs l, Everton’s is 218. But if Howe finishes mid table he’s doing a great job , while Silva a year into the job, with a new DOF and a high turnover of players is expected to get us top 6.

I’m not sold on silva, but if annoys me this media perception that we have spent a billion, while the teams around us have spent 2 Bob

Flavour of the 7 months. Its a decent shout. Liverpool and city dominate this league so to be sitting just behind them on points total wise is bloody good.
If it was any other manager i'd be saying the same.
Some are so begrudging to give him credit because of who he is. Who cares that he managed them.

Rodgers is a very good manager, but I wouldn't want him here. Leicester made a great call to bring him in mid season when they were struggling last year

Thats it innit, I mean Leicester themselves have spent 200m in the last 2 years, but everybody thinks they are doing it on a shoestring.

He’s buying a certain category of player as no top players are going to go to Bournemouth, fact!

Therefore it could easily be argued he’s getting better out of lesser players.

I wouldn't want Howe. I don't think he'd cope with the pressure here because he's too comfortable where he's been for a long time. He also disrespects the cups every year.

Struggle to think of anyone I'd genuinely want to replace him with, but I suspect he'll be gone if we lose the next 3. Brands must have already identified alternatives, as he seems a competent fella, but who realistically would be a good appointment? It'd have to be another up and comer I suspect.

All i said was that Leicester had had a few things gone in there favour. And I’m apparently sounding bitter. So I can’t have an opinion about a team get a few decisions, but he can praise an other teams manager , who he knew a lot about, watched them play, knew how many points they’ve won since he took over. Logic flies out the window on here sometimes, if you say Rodgers is a good manager you must be a red, you couldn’t possibly just be being realistic.

I knew you would have a point to suit your own argument. Brighton’s debt on spending in 4yrs is 206mill yes that right 12mil less than us. And all they are trying to do is survive.

And all the teams around us Leicester, West Ham, wolves, Watford, villa will all have a debts between 150mil & 200mil. So it just goes to show nearly every team in the prem is spending serious money. So that’s why we need to give Brands time, if silva isn’t the man I’m sure Brands will get rid. But please let’s not appoint Eddie Howe
