Pressure is too much for him. “We deserved to win the game”.. shades of Martinez there. All of the effort the club went through to bring this spoofer in.. laughable.. and it’s going to get worse. What are Brands and Moshiri playing at

What I cant fathom is whats the ambition for the season? If its to get top 6 then why keep this fella in charge for even more games to fall behind the chasing pack?

If its to simply survive fair enough but Moshiri/Brands are stood dithering waiting for us to go into the bottom 3 meaning we end up with another kin Allardyce firefighter coming in.

Our board need chasing out of town - gang of idiots who wouldnt look out of place at a club like Stoke not Everton.

I was prepared to give silva time, but it’s pretty obvious that the guy is a very weak manager. And weak managers get sacked.

Yes he’s been unlucky with Gbamin and Gomes. But to constantly keep playing, Coleman, Schneiderlin, Delph and siggurdsson is a disgrace imo.
Also you can add DCL to that list, yes he’s got a few goals lately, but he shouldn’t be upfront on his own he isn’t good enough. We desperately need to splash the cash on a top top striker if we are going to persist with one up top. No up and coming striker a Mandzukic or Dzeko, we need a here and now in that position regardless of age.

Check out the points totals Palace, Bournemouth, Villa and Burnley all had in their last PL seasons.

It’s 83 points from 76 games.

Won 22 Drew 17 Lost 37.

So look at how we are regressing.

1 point from those four games. Whilst the average away performance from their opponent was SEVEN times better.

Right Moyes like him or not he did brilliantly in most of his seasons here on a low budget, how did he do that? Only answer is he must have been a good manager. Would he have lasted so long with the money been spent I’ve the last few years, probably not. I’m all for us to cut back on the spending (as it simply hasn’t worked) and give some of the youngsters some game time, as it’s clear to see the so called top players at the club aren’t up to the task. So we need a manager who is going to do that. Arteta would be my choice but if he could have say unsworth as an assistant wouldn’t that be a good direction for the club to go, I think so. It would take time and I would be prepared to give them time, put it this way they couldn’t be any worse than Silva. Mourinho has been mentioned imo he isn’t suitable, it would just end up the same again in a year or so also if he did really well to start with he would be off to one of the big boys again.

Adding to that though, there are a couple of positions that need sorting here and now striker and CB.

Paragraphs.

The table is horrible to look at. So many average teams up there, this run of results really has been unacceptable.

Was thinking last night about how crap Burnley were, then looked at the prem table and was surprised to see them 5th, 5 points ahead of us, and just too rub it in they have a +9 GD over us, just really brings home how bad we are.

We are really that bad, the only good thing that should come out if the weekend is Silva should be gone. Then try to get it right this time, but how many times is it going to take.
