I don't think he's in danger of losing his job, that's probably why. The club have no idea who they would turn to. They are hoping things pick up.
Things clearly aren’t going to pick up, though. The aim for this season was to challenge for a top 6 spot and we’ve somehow ended up in a relegation battle.

I find it so strange that there is nothing in the media about his situation. Usually we’d hear something along the lines of the board still have confidence in him, etc

The media don’t really care about us. Our news ain’t even worth publishing.

I wouldn’t blame them.

We are a laughing stock now.

Its a shame we never won a trophy or two in these past 3 seasons under Moshiri as atleast it would have helped repair some of the damage done to the fanbase under Kenwrong and our fans have higher expectations - even now some want him to stay.

Wish we had more demanding fans like the top 6, WHU, Newcastle etc regardless of how it makes them come across as bells.

he will have one last chance, against West Ham, the result will define his career

It's been an awful start and it might not turn around but a few wins bounces you straight up the league. Better off hoping and praying for that to happen because its more likely than Silva losing his job.

Nothing from the Echo or anything, though. It’s radio silence.

The club need to come out and tell us what the hell is going on.

I don’t think they are bothered either mate. If it was our loveable neighbours they’d have an inquest and front page spread asking how it could happen.

That is because we have become a nothing club in the eyes of people ouwith Evertonia.

The media are no longer interested in EFC and its now bi-annual managerial crises.

I think other fans regard us the way I used to regard Coventry City for the 30 odd years between getting promoted and getting relegated.

A nondescript team there to make up t’ numbers.

Just there to make up t’ numbers.

True that.

I do agree, there needs to be some clarification.

Usually the ‘vote of confidence’ quotes are out right away after poor performances, which usually results in impending dismissal.

It has me worried that there’s been nothing. I fear our board are gonna give him more time, which means even less time to get us out of the dismay we find ourselves in.
