2019/20 Marco Silva

Our club pretends to be ambitious but actions speak far louder than words, and our board has allowed us to decay to potentially being bottom of the table by the end of October.

We cannot win away from home, and we cannot win when we concede first home or away. We can barely score goals. This firstly falls on the manager, and then on the board for appointing him in the first place.

What will it take for him to be sacked? Will the club somehow "give him until Christmas to turn it around"? I sure hope not, as there have been literally no signs at all that we will improve. I hope nobody is pointing to a 3-1 home defeat against City as the game we suddenly looked like a good team again, especially when a week later the same City team was humbled 2-0 at home by Wolves!

Silva needs to go, now!

“If they saw the game, and for sure they saw, they can analyse and they will have seen the same thing that I saw and I don't see that as being reason for things to change, to be honest.”

Delusional. We are 18th.

My viewership of the next game will probably depend on who sits behind the striker against West Ham. We’ll probably win, but I’m almost positive Marco will have learned nothing.

I would have to agree, with the sentiments expressed here.

After every defeat, Silva tells us they're going to produce 'a reaction' in the next match... and they do. They get WORSE. Surely Moshiri isn't so blind that he can't see Silva's appointment was a monumental, horrific mistake. If he really has hopes od Everton challenging for a top six place, (or even a top half place after the latest debacle) he has to act now and show Silva the door. If he doesn't I seriously expect us to be involved in a long fight against relegation for the rest of the season. Every game he delays making that decision is potentially another three points lost and nearer the drop.

Virtually 2 weeks before Koeman was sacked.

It’s quite concerning he hasn’t the seal of approval from the board yet Silva

“We know the expectations of our supporters and will not let them down”

Well sort it out for us Moshiri before it gets dangerous.

He knows more about players than Toshiri, that's for sure. Tosun FFS.

...I don’t think Moshiri has much idea about football but I certainly wouldn’t blame him for player signings. Indeed, he appears not to interfere with that aspect of the club, which is how it should be. Moshiri can be criticised for managerial/DoF appointments, but not players.

It’s strange with you, Dave. You pick and chose who you think is responsible for good and bad signings. Brands is accountable for signings under his tenure, and Walsh is accountable for all signings under his tenure. The role of the DoF is to sign off all signings.

You might chose to ignore this, but Steve Walsh brought Tosun in. It wasn’t Moshiri and it wasn’t Allardyce. Indeed, I got the impression Allardyce wasn’t keen on the lad.

It’s fine to form opinion on Moshiri or Brands, you might well be correct but it’s wrong to be selective on the evidence you choose to support your views.

Remember Dave lad said Niasse was not bought by Martinez...
