Agree on this, no excuses for it taking that long, it's not like there are transfer windows for managers, and we knew before the season started Silva was never going to be a top 6 manager.

Walsh bought Siggy instead of Maddison.

Mina is better than Söyüncü.

Praet has played about 8 games so can't really judge. But saying he's better than Gomes and Delph is a little reaching.

And before we go all envious of Leicester, let's just see how they get on. They're reliant on Vardy and are clinical. Once that dries up, we'll see what happens

Mina is tosh. Not even close to Soyuncu. He'll be gone next summer, probably to somewhere like Levante or Corinthians.

Imagine thinking that Gomes and Delph are comparable to any of Maddison, Ndidi, Tielemans or Praet.

Retaining Silva even in the short term, is entirely the wrong decision IMO. Especially since we have a nice two week window to bring in the right man to replace him.

But either way, we need to win games. I've no faith whatsoever in Silva but I hope he reels off 3 or 4 wins on the spin. I just hope this isn't yet another cock up by the club.

Unless we have some one lined up to Take over no need to rush sacking him.
I'd be amazed if a list is at least not been drawn up and potential replacements sounded out
