Its also a matter of pride, he went long and he went big for this fella, when he sacks him, cos hes defo getting sacked at some point, he will have to admit to the world that hes done another whoopsie.

This Mosh fella isn't all he's cracked up to be is he...seems like he hasn't done his homework on EFC and what the club is all about.

IMO hes everything hes cracked up to be.

Hes constantly put his money where his mouth is.

He should probably stay away from footballing decisions in the future tho, but thankfully we have Brands now.

Mistakes have been made, but we can recover from them all, its just going to take more time than everybody, Mosh included, thought it would.

There is just no point in keeping him. Every time we lose, which will be many more times this season, it’s just going to turn toxic. Just get him out now.

I agree least he has tried.

He doesn’t help himself with his decisions of a match day, but the biggest problem of this team is the players themselves. Their ability to only perform when the pressure is off and see off managers at will is disgusting. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to change even when we bring in new players every year.

I’ll bet if we stick with Silva and another season ends in March we will suddenly start swatting people away at will like last season, even the clubs at the top of the league. This isn’t a managerial issue for me.

Brands has an incredibly difficult job to shift the culture of mediocrity at this club and i’m honestly not sure he has it in him.

Kinda how I see things.

We need complete clean out

Board, manger, coaches, players, literally a total clean out and start a fresh with a manager with track record of success who is totally in tune with what is needed here

I had this conversation with my buddy the other day, that Brands has also made mistakes and whether or not he could stop the rot. He argued that Brands brought PSV Eindhoven back to relevance but I had to remind him that only 3 teams (PSV is one) have won the Eredivisie since 1965

PSV, Ajax, Twente, AZ, Feyenoord have all won the league in the last 10 years mate.

In the same period City, Chelsea, Leicester, Utd have won the Premier League.

Thats part of the problem with Brands, misinformation.

let me look up where I read it; could've sworn it was only PSV, Ajax & (I think) Twente. I'm also never wrong, so... ;-)

ok, minor lack of reading comprehension on my side. To be fair though, Twente & AZ won only 3 (1981, 2009-10). The rest, in 54 years, went to the "big 3." Certainly not like PSV had a huge, incredibly surprising climb back to relevance.
