If we only draw tomorrow we will be on 8 points, the same number of points and games as when Koeman was sacked.

Anybody who called for Koemans head and does not take the same stance with Silva is an absolute farce of a human being.
It would be acceptable to not have the same stance if you believed that there was something happening in the team that gave you confidence in the results improving in the very immediate future. With Moonhead, there was absolutely zip in terms of any belief in him being the man for the job when he went (if memory serves me right). The farcical episode with Unsworth, no Silva, Bisto Boy and the hobgoblin probably also throws doubt into the mind about just getting shot of Silva.

I however have to say that I am as close to wanting someone gone as can be without wishing for open insurrection from the fans at the game. Only because I don't believe that there is an appetite to remove him (thanks to @wiggum23 for making me aware of that phrase being bandied about) and knowing the gang of jackasses in charge, I have no belief that a replacement will be in place anytime soon. So we're stuck with him. I still hope he turns it around, but he is defo in the last chance saloon now.

A smart manager will adapt to an under pressure situation to save his job, as Koeman tried and got a stay of execution for an extra couple of weeks out of it. I highly doubt Silva will do the same thing which is a big worry

He is now saying that the WHU game is a must win heavens so were the previous few games. Nust have stopped taking the sleeping pills.

Got news for him the games after are also must win or draw but not lose.

His tactics were used at Hull and Watford where it failed those clubs and now those same tactics are failing our club.

Another angle on it is: if the board is considering removing Silva, who is likely to be on their longlist? And who is on the supporters' longlist? Because I think if names get said enough by the supporters, maybe the board would have a look at those names. But if the supporters don't have any names they can suggest the board will either not remove Silva or it will install someone that maybe the supporters wouldn't want. Again. Maybe that is why it is important to have a discussion about who would replace Silva were he to go. Just going on about Silva going doesn't give any solutions to the problem.

Maybe it's really about a better defensive coach/or coaches being brought in and Silva getting more educated about that aspect of the game? Or better defensive players at the back and midfield?

By all accounts the players like him.

He seems like a good coach to me, one who can develop a player working 1 on 1, but working as a manager of 11 in high pressure situations has shown he's not up for that.
Well that's a bit of a contradiction if you ask me. A good coach 1 on 1 but not all 11? Out of interest, which players do you think he has developed since being at Everton?
