No I agree he’s not good enough. I started a Silva out thread on here straight after the millwall defeat last season. I was laughed into next week.

This result today isn’t down to him. The players faulted and VAR done ya over.

He kept the same team as last week apart from the injury, which everyone wanted. He brought DCL on who went and scored.

I can’t see what else he could of done today.
Bringing Sigurdsson on was a mistake.

Losing to brighton regardless is just the final straw for me

Had nearly 18 months and we’ve been crap for about 15 of them. Even pre season results have been garbage. We have no distinct style, no heart, no game management. His teams have conceded the most in the league from set pieces at 3 different clubs.

It’s not about a VAR decision, it’s about a manager that isn’t up to the task. Time to go.

It was a long while back Moshiri said in public, in front of Silva, that 11th is not good enough.

We'll do well to be 11th by Christmas at this rate. It'd be refreshing to see him sacked after this as his tenure now qualifies as a pretty spectacular failure, given the funds he's been able to work with. This can't be seen to be acceptable. He's had more than enough time. We're over a quarter of the way through his second season now.

He got the first season free, of course and he well and truly used up that Get Out of Jail Free card last season in a poor campaign. I was always of the opinion that at the first sign of him ruining another season ahead of time, he should be sacked immediately. This league campaign's now almost guaranteed to be another failure (finishing outside the top 6). Nailed on sacking, unless there really are zero decent replacement options available.

It would be extremely harsh to sack him after that no?

Brought DCL on, he scores instantly and then VAR takes over. It buoyed them and flattened us (as it has and as it will a lot more teams this season).

We've got two home games this week which are even bigger than they were two hours ago. I hope he's not out the job the other side of them because it'll mean we've won.
VAR didn't beat us. That was a penalty.

The players share the blame with him today, but that does not mean he deserve to manage us any longer base on what happen this season so far. We are in a situation where we can’t afford anymore mistake and it is solely down to Silva and nothing else.
