I think Burnley away was the last leg for Silva I don’t buy any of this three games to save his job that’s paper talk, he’ll only be sacked if Everton believe an interim manager can significantly improve results between now and May.

Euro 2020 means a longer pre season which gives a new coach or manager a longer summer to organise for the new season, Id like to think there’s two processes ongoing

1. Short term what’s best between Christmas and May, continue with Silva or interim boss.

2. Long term next manager to start at pre season.

It doesn’t mean they’ll be there at the seasons end, and that is what counts.
Every season starts with teams doing unexpectedly well as well as teams doing surprisingly poorly, it usually corrects itself by close of play.

I agree with your point. However they have a damn sight more chance of being there at the seasons end , than we have with this guy in charge.

We’ll smash Watford all over the place on Tuesday. I didn’t see a lot wrong with how we played yesterday, there was some great performances most notably sidibe who should stay in the team for me now. We bossed Brighton, came from behind and you can try and say his changes didn’t work but they did. That pen decision is what killed us, just a shame it feeds in to some people’s narratives.

There’s plenty of things to moan about this season but yesterday’s performance shouldn’t really be one.

It doesnt feed anything. We have 1 single point away from home this season and even yesterday at 2-1 up with 10 minutes to go every Everton feared it. We still wont win this. Its just as much a results business and this fella cant buy a win away from home. Nothing to say even without the pen they would have come at us in the last ten mins and we crumbled. Why do i think that? Because its what we do under silva.
Can look at decisions all day long. Other teams would have put brighton to bed yesterday and stuff like that wouldnt have mattered. But Its almost inevitable with Everton that we think we have done ok and deserved something. But come away with nothing. That sounds like the marco silva post match interview. Getting tired of it. We are not clinical. We put no games to bed. Even west ham last week. By far our best performance of the season they could still have nicked a point 5 mins from the end because we dont know how to see out games under silva.
1 POINT AWAY FROM HOME.
Let that sink in.

They’ll play their reserves

I understand why you think that but I still don’t think, personally , that it’s a given.
I do believe Silva is a good manager and that over the course of the season we will improve enough to at least finish close to Europa qualification.
