Hughes did very well with Blackburn and was part of a big transition at City. Guilty of not delivering silverware fast enough under new owners who hadn’t appointed him (much like Ranieri at Chelsea), he laid the groundwork for the title win there 18 months after he left, and he’d signed most of the core of that title winning team.
Please dont big him up the board might be reading this

When andy hunter and king both run it together they have been briefed
Might to judge the public reaction but its not made up

How do you know they have been briefed and that its not made up? They could have just be speculating based upon what others have said for all any of us know.

Do you really believe that the Everton Hierarchy are going to brief a couple of Journalists about private high level matters such as the possibility of one of their employee's being sacked and replaced and just ignore privacy and duty of care. Honestly, just as if lol.

Clubs brief journalists. It has happened for years. It's how the business works.
If you dont believe it happens then you are naive.

Naive indeed. Got to love the irony.

Of course they brief journos about certain matters such as transfers and various matters but there is absolutely no way would they brief them on their own employees being sacked and replaced and run the risk of massive fines for breaching confidentiality and contractual laws that have been around for years for that very reason.

And yes i am very experienced with how these things work with being in management for around 30 years.

Ok mate x

I would give my ST away till the end of the season if Hughes came in. Wouldn't be surprised if the club leaked this to make the Moyes appointment look like a better choice.

@Death is sharpening his scythe as we speak ready to bring to end the Silva shambles. Not that I want him to go just yet but really if all we can muster is 11 points from the run of games we have had then we definitely need someone new to kick start the useless brick outhouses.

Everton much more a closed shop these days, so I’m With you, I don’t remember many of these journalists posting strong transfer stories in the summer or Paul Joyce fir that matter.

A journalist from the daily sport, doing a piece on Everton’s next manger would mention moyes, As everyone knows Bill would have him back tomorrow.

I honestly think and I could be very wrong, that the club don’t won’t to go down the stop gap route again, after Sam 2yrs ago. They’ve surely learnt their lesson from sacking koeman. That’s why I believe silva will hang on for now, if the man or men that Brands wants isn’t available.

Silva Out, Moyes in, Silva will take us down, Moyes would never let that happen to us.

This is just becoming comedic now...

Joint 6th but for VAR.

Premier League have admitted that the Brighton Penalty shouldnt have been given...add that to the Spurs dodgy decisions.

If we hadnt been cheated just for those 2 games we'd be 6th.

Thats without an experienced CF + first choice CM for most games this season...

And your 'fave' Michael "donkey" Keane in defence.

Dude, it’s not funny anymore...

You're spot on, there's other worde to describe pure hysteria against a manager who has been left with a sub-par squad and has suffered key injuries and disgraceful decisions.

Cant put it on Brands though as most of his signings are excellent but there havent been enough of them.
