I am. I thought that he was a practical manager who would be chased out more for being dull and not being able to push us toward the CL than being completely useless.

Fair one, he’s doing pretty much exactly how me and my old man (who never agree on anything Everton weirdly) predicted. I think the fact that thinking he’d be alright but still get binned speaks volumes about Silva though

Genuine question here. Is anyone actually surprised how badly he’s done or expected any different from when he was appointed?

No not really, but he was the next best bright manager and the perfect tonic to wash Sam's gravy away. So Silva was brought in to entertain us, apparently, entertainment alrighty.
