2019/20 Marco Silva

Dark months ahead, I don’t think we can sustain a midfield with Gylfi and Schneiderlin in it. Both are far too passive, Tosun not the answer up front on his own. That was possibly the worst performance I’ve witnessed under Silva. It reminded me of the Sam Allardyce days.

Result is the worst... performance is the same as against Sheff Utd, Villa and Palace to name a few.

I'm always somebody who looks at performance before results but we are slow, predictable and ponderous. The crying shame is that we have the players to be so much better.

Silva deserves the sack. He's a clueless bellend of monumental proportions, we've had worse managers then him but I honestly don't think that we've ever had a stupider manager then Marco Silva. I actually might send the club some fish oil to hopefully help boost his IQ up to let's say that of a moron.

All that being said we won't get much better when he goes. Not with this horrible team of rats we have playing for us.

They won't play for the club.

They won't play for the manager.

They won't play for the fans.

They won't play for each other.

Hell, they won't even play for professional pride. They're a gang of utter scumbags.

The club needs a total purge from top to bottom or it'll be a matter of when not if we get relegated.

Lack of home grown, long standing players in our team = 50/50 as to whether we get concentration/effort that = performance

Inexperienced, tactically poor manager with zero touchline presence = 50/50 as to whether team (if it has turned up) can still turn a game.

50% x 50% = 25% chance of Everton turning out a performance. That's roughly the number of games we've won.

Need to stick by our longer-term decent players (and home-gown youth squad etc) to build that team ethic we lost with Moyes and the players that have departed since.

I see no reason for Silva to stay at the club for even the short-term. I'd say grab Poch if he doesn't turn his nose up at us.
I'd prefer a British manager, many young British guys doing a grand job with clubs spending much less than us yet far higher up the table.

But some of the insulting cr&p I've read on this forum directed to the likes of Howe, Dyche etc makes me chuckle. Look at what they've done. Look at what Moyes did for us. If we can't recognise that's what we need at Everton, then grab Poch if we feel we need a fancy Dan import to lead our band of overseas deserters.

I really don´t think we do. The squad is filled with bang average footballers none of the top 7 would be interested in.

How many players do you think are bad?!

We are replacing the squad for every manager and still ending up sacking him. How many more do you want to sign before we stumble.on the right 24?

Better yet, why are Everton the only team in the league who have the players blamed for crap relegated / sacked managers being hired every 2 years before firing them again? No other team fanbase blame the players despite replacing them all so often.

I mean this genuinely, think about it. We blame the players , replace them and then continue blaming them? Does that sound like a stable argument?

So who is to blame? Because we have a manager, blame them, replace them, blame them again.

Out of our squad I rate Pickford, Digne, Mina, Holgate, Sidebe, Davies, Gomes (star by his name), Richarlison, Bernard, Iwobi, Bernard and Kean

Question marks over Keane, Delph, Walcott, Lossl, Gbamin, Gordon, Beni, DCL

Don't rate: Baines, Coleman, Schneiderlin, Sigurdsson, Tosun

Your mileage may differ.
