i cant understand most of the pure bitter comments on here lads about hughes and city.

if this was everton are you telling me you wouldnt be happy about trying to sign very good quality players?

you might start saying " no we wouldnt we are the peoples club" but i believe that is rubbish because if you are telling me you wouldnt want to try and fast track your club higher into the league then i believe you are telling lies or just not telling the truth.

i find it hard also with the bitter comments about hughes because i cant find anything that would bring this hate towards him because what exactly has he said??

he only said that everton have turned 2 bids down for a target of city which is lescott and he has only spoken about this very very briefly because hughes respects that lescott is an everton player.

you all seem to be missing a point which is everton went official on lescotts bids and not city so why didnt everton keep the bids quiet when they had no need to go public with them?

no club has to go public with bids so i find it strange that everton fans are blaming hughes and city for this when the facts are everton went public on this just like milan did over kaka and barcelona did over eto'o and chelsea did over terry to name a few.

city have tried to do deals on the quiet like they did with villa over barry and villa had the respec to not let the bid known so why didnt everton just say thanks but no thanks to city without anyone knowing?

come on lads take of them blue tinted specs and see that everton are just seeking to make city look bad in this when moyes and your lovey chairman are the ones to blame for going public on this.

regarding lescott i would much prefer the lad at fulham who is up for sale because i feel he is a much better player than lescott at half the price.

over to you lads for the abuse towards me know eh ?

Hughes didnt respect Lescott being an Everton player at all. If so why did he come back after being told he wasnt for sale? He's unsettled Lescott to ask for a transfer. The other day Hughes said if he cant get the players he's after he'll look elsewhere then suddenly Lescott hands in a transfer request while he's out of sight with England. Pure shithouse. As far as I'm concerned he can fook off to shitty.

so what do you want city to do then...say ok we cant get lescott so we wont bother going for other targets?

and why did lescott have to be told of city's offer from city? that would have meant lescott would be playing for everton without even knowing about it and like the sensible lad who posted above said all city want to do is buy better players and there HASNT been any tapping up of players at all.

so why did we bid after being told he wasnt for sale ? i dont have the answer to that one but at a guess i would say i cant see us bidding for a player twice unless we was given encouragment from someone at everton.

maybe your chairman can answer that or your shareholders who would have been told about the lescott bid.

also its not down to city to bid loads more money higher to pay for your squad rebuild its down to a price city feel is right and if its over the top even for city im glad we was going to walk away from the deal.

so the reason lescott has put a transfer request in is because your chairman.manager made it public like they have done on your OS with the news lescott has put a request in instead of keeping shtum and that way it may have been possible for everton to sort it out with lescott.

Nothing to do with anything being made public. Hughes was told at the off no sale. What is it you cannot understand about respecting that and going elsewhere??

You might not have tapped the player up but you can bet his agent has been got to. 2 bids and 2 no's but still they knock on the door. Respect for Everton my arse.

and like ive said mate i dont know but surely they was given a nudge to bid again otherwise we wouldnt have even known about the bid let alone it getting washed in public like it is because its not good for everton or city the way its going.

either way you are going to have one unhappy player in your camp next season and thats not good for everton at all and thats not right for you if that happens but its not city's fault.

well if its lescotts agent doing the nod nod wink wink then why aint people pissed off with lescott?

i can tell you know and i can back this up with proof that lescott wanted to join city about a month ago and thats from a source very very close at city.

they also said that everton agreed a fee aswell but now want more for lescott.

if you want proof i will get it once i get home from work a little later but its deffo down to lescott and also down to everton for going public.

So City fan we have an unhappy player, tough. He can stay here and enjoy the reserves which means you have to look elsewhere before end of August.

i think your taking this the wrong way robert?

im not on here gloating because i dont like this washing being done in public as much as you lads dont im on here putting my thoughts on the matter and for you keep telling me to goto my own forums then if thats the wish of everyone i will but i was invited by one of your lads who visits my site VMC who said you was a fair bunch of lads on here but all im getting from you mate is pure abuse lol

as for us going out and getting another player because lescott isnt for sale and will be playing in your reserves then thats fine because we will do that but we have already been accused us unsettling lescott because hughes has gone after other targets after our 2nd bid was rejected.

That might bugger up his chances of playing in the World Cup. Shame.

and also bugger up your chances next season because as i keep reading on here you aint got a penny to spend so thats just biting off the nose to spite the face.

after all this how do you lads feel about the situation?

now he has asked for a transfer would you still want to keep him or get rid ASAP and get someone else in?

dont say lets get £30m for him and sell him because city wont pay that even for lescott so that plan if moyes is thinking it wont happen.

Basically fcuk the World Cup, club comes first.

City fan I have not called you any silly names so cannot see how I have abused you. I have taken exception to the tactics of your manager and club, yes.

One point is if your club toddles off and buys Upson then you won't need Lescott. But why if you do not really rate Lescott but prefer Fulham's player who go for Lescott and is Upson better than Lescott???

i just think the lad at fulham is much tougher and upson is injury prone IMO.

why should Everton tell Lescott when he has loads left on his contract and they dont wish to sell, city have tried to do this through the media and unsettle the player and get him to hand in a request, doesn't mean we have to do anything still apart from turn it down. he was happy with the contract he signed so thats what he'll have to stay happy with.

so sing along....you know the tune

mark hughes, your club is just one big farce
so stick your cash up your arse
you still wont win f all this year
and steevie irelands a queer

if anything this statement pays city undo respect, but i would consider them one of our biggest rivals next season (though it remains to be seen if they're deserving of that honor). i would rather sell him to another team for slightly less if it means we wouldn't be playing into our rivals hands. hopefully we won't sell till the end if we do sell to you, so we can see you make due with the backs you have and expose hughes for the joke he is.
