With all talk of having serious money now with the TV revenues and Moshiri coming in we should be making quite a splash this summer.

Whichever side of the fence youre on, Martinez will be embarassed and under pressure next season (if hes still manager) and so will spend on top quality. Also any new manager would come in and also buy some quality players.

Back when we were after Arshavin, Moyes came out and said we were lacking an XFactor player to unlock defences. Martinez has also been after an XFactor type in Yarmolenko

My question to you is.....if NO ONE IS SOLD:

In which position will the biggest signing of the summer be made?

Regardless of thinking we need a GK, or whatever, will have to wait and see who leaves because that could alter the options and needs.

Until the manager is sorted out - either by booting him or getting him to realize what is wrong and fix it - there is no player we could buy who would unlock opposition defences more than the ones we have already.

2. New No Nonsense CB, has to be a born leader / winner / organiser
3. New DM to replace Barry
4. New Creative midfielder to actually create goal scoring chances
5. New right back to put pressure on Coleman

Note there are other threads to discuss the manager + i stated thst whoever is in charge would be making a big signing...or i think it would be expected.

1-- Agree
2-- Agree and think manolas link is positive.
3-- Definitely....perhaps a young protege.
4-- I think that tarashaj as barkley backup
5-- To remove coleman as 1st choice

id also say a new left side.....but we cant change all in one summer.
