I don’t think any of those were big money signings were they apart from Lukaku? What I’m trying to get at is did he have a proper chance with a proper budget?

I just can’t remember if he did or not.
That is a fair comment.

McCarthy, Lukaku and Funes Mori and Niasse were big money signings.

Lukaku was a success. McCarthy was good for a while then injured. Tgd itger two were poor, but we got our money back on Mori.

I recall his comment when he was last here about we don't work on defence or set-pieces. The thought of this clown with our currently awful defenders scares me to death. He'd make it even worse in no time.

The thing is I would say the same thing about Rooney I just don’t think this is the right thing for dunc right now. My dad thinks we should have him and Rooney as they are both blues and would get instant respect in the dressing room but this is no easy job
When is it right then lol he's 50. He's hanging around cuz he wants the job the club need to give him it. If it works out great if not he can go back to an ambassador role or something

I meant Rooney and dunc hasn’t exactly gone and learned his trade by being the main man. The problem is right now we are or are very close too a relegation dog fight do we really want someone with very little experience dealing with that?

But he has learnt under some experienced managers as a number 2 and under one of the greats in Ancelloti. If nows not the time for Dunc then it never is. He loves Everton and won't leave also that's the problem so he needs to step up imo and take the risks that come with being a manager.
