How good is De Vrij mate?. I know there was a lot of talk around the time of WC2014 but I didn't think his form at Lazio was that great. Certainly not to begin with anyay.
The other 3 I would agree with but it isn't just about ambition, you're probably talking £100m for 2 of them. If we got one and then somebody like Keane and dump Funes Mori, I'd be ecstatic tbh. Think, with Holgate/Williams in support, we'd have the best central defence in the league.

Some paper linked de Virj to Everton for £30m since he is entering the final year of his current contract. Koeman is familiar with him during his time at Feyenoord so that won't be a surprise if the manager makes a move.
Keane is alright by the way but I prefer bigger names.

How good is de Vrij though mate?. I know when he first went to Lazio reports on him weren't great and then he got a bad knee injury which he's not long back from. Hasn't got himself back into the Dutch squad yet either. I don't get the bigger names thing. Just because he's Dutch and plays in the Italian league doesn't make him a better player than Keane. defenders with bigger reputations than De Vrij have come into our league and struggled to come to terms with it. We know what we're getting with Keane.

He was quite a commanding defender back in his time at Feyenoord. Good in the air too. That's true he was injured most of the time since his move to Lazio. I think he is already back in the latest Dutch squad.
I asserted that I am ok with Keane at least he is proven in PL and trusts Koeman will make him a better defender.

It was Papastathopoulos who's also a very good player. After the match he said that it was because Papastathopoulos pushed Toby Alderweireld and people shouldn't be pushing his teammates. So he was simply telling the guy that he shouldn't be pushing his teammates, according to RL.

As a side note, I would be quite happy to see Rom getting worked up like that about Everton colleagues. I don't think he uses his incredible physique anywhere near enough.

He himself says it was Papastathopoulos, always rated him good player from Dortmund. I think Manolas just joined in. Samaris pulled RL away, which was a friendly gesture.

It was a poor match really.
Seventy-two percent ball-possession.
I hope he can learn from it. His subs came too late; against 10 players and every Greek player around the box he should have substituted Ciman much sooner for an attacking player. Bringing Mirallas on in the 84th minute...
I had some reservations about the tactics. Witsel, Fellaini and Naingollan. I would have played Tielemans, Dembele/Witsel, Fellaini. Tielemans because he plays loads of through balls (which you need to break open a very defensive team), also he seldom plays the ball backwards.
That being said loads of players played a bad game.
The next match will be a travesty. Lots of sudden injuries today. Courtois, Fellaini and Ciman injured. His team selection will be interesting; I think he'll still start with Lukaku and maybe Mirallas. Hope he rests Lukaku.

Take De Bruyne and Hazard out of any team tasked with breaking down another that comes to get a draw and it'll be tough going.
And I wouldn't underestimate the Greeks. They've conceded only three goals in this group so far and are well capable of organising to go away and get respectable results. In the past two years or so they've gone to Hungary, Poland, Romania, Turkey and now Belgium and contained the opposition.
