Leon Osman has just said that Holgate is out for a "few" months??? How is that possible...he did not need surgery but yet out for months? Do we know exactly what is the injury?

Holgate needs to come back sooner rather.. reading other threads fans forgetting he was head and shoulders the best defender in the team last season, putting Keane and Mina to shame covering their bloopers, winning everything in his area and playing out like a man who has all the confidence.. without the Stones mistakes. Problem with being out for long and other players picking up eventually. Personally can't wait for him to return and be first choice CB once again.

To be fair having Godfrey has mitigated the need for him to be rushed back, which is a good thing.

Keane and Mina have started the season well, by and large.
