Godfrey does it everyone knocks one out

He never seems to make them challenges without winning the ball Godfrey though that's the difference. Cebellos must hate seeing Godfrey coming close as that's two challenges this season where he's been hammered

Good game from him tonight. I like the way Carlo is utilising our defence with plenty of playing time for each and everyone of them. The experience for Holgate and Godfrey playing CBs then right and left back is a great learning curve for them and will only aid them for the future.

Not been able to find consistency this season after a good run last year, but showed tonight that he's still a good player.

Credit for starting that alongside Godfrey and being relatively comfortable in keeping a clean sheet. I was concerned about the pairing but they did well.

I'd love to give them more credit after lifting a 25 year hoodoo, but Nketiah et al really are woeful.

Still think Mason is under-rated and under-appreciated. Rarely let’s us down. Thought he was really strong paired with Godfrey tonight....that’s a partnership that could really gel given game time.

People just forget that he's young, played behind some awful midfielders.

I think he’s played Well but would prefer him and Mina or Godfrey and Mina. He is similar to Godfrey just not as good.

His test will come against a side who put more crosses into the box. That was our problem last week and Arsenal aren't a team to exploit that potential weakness.

We still looked weak under the few high balls they did play. That's why we need Mina in there alongside Godfrey in my opinion.
