Man have we missed this lad this season. We often tend to talk so much about how we miss important players like James, Richy, Digne etc and Mason is just as important imo. He has arguably been one of our best players the last 2 seasons.

Hope he starts tomorrow.

Love the sound of that. Massively important that between now and January we pick up our early form and only our best first eleven can do it. By January we'll know for sure if we need a couple of signings.

We'll win tomorrow then a lovely international break again to kill our mojo for the 2nd time this season

I think he should be on the bench tomorrow and if opportunity arises bring him on for the last 15 minutes. Looking forward to him partnering Keane once he's fully fit will mean we can push a little higher up the pitch.

Seems sensible not to chuck him straight in the deep end. Will be fantastic to have him back in the first team eventually.

I wonder what the long term plans are with him and Godfrey. Would they be too lightweight together? Personally, I think it'd only be a problem in a select few games. Overall I'd back the pairing, rather than adding a big grock. I think having two quick players back there, who can also play, would transform how we play.

I'm not Keane's biggest fan but since lockdown he's been our best player so for the time being its a Keane Holgate partnership for me. However I think ultimately Godfrey Holgate would be my preferred choice but it would destroy Keane's confidence to drop him for no reason. Mina has been culpable for at least 3 goals since start of the season so he can hardly be surprised if he's dropped.
