Mason "Bramble" Holcrap
It’s genuinely incredible that people still get fooled into thinking he’s good when he has a couple of half decent games. He’s proved a thousand times over that he’s crap.
First thing I noticed, maybe because when Keane messes up the crowd get on both the backs and he not liking that??, they golfing buddies off the pitch

Yeah I did, a few of the others went right over due to it being a head injury whereas Holgate just walked away and didn't even look back (not sure if he was just embarrassed or not) but also on one of the goals he had a chance to stop it and he just stood there in full teapot stance watching the play unfold. Not a fan tbh.
To be honest, I think he's even worse than Keane. An ambitious club would have sold him 2 years ago and reinvested.

Who's he fooled? Pretty unanimous that he's bobbins.
I'm not going to tag people because i'm not intending to call them out but in the 2 pages before the game last night there were all these posts by different people:
"Much better than Keane. Shouldn't even be in the same sentence with him."
"He’s always played better when he gets a run of games in the middle. Soon as we take him in and out or play him full-back he falls apart."
"Godfrey, Holgate, Branthwaite + One senior new CB is not a bad team of 4 central defenders.
Holgate is good enough I think for this."
"His form has been revitalized under Frank, think there's a decent defender there."
"perhaps Frank and his coaching staff, are the ones to unlock his potential."
It does seem that people often just ignore his actual ability levels. He isn't big or strong and he isn't particularly quick. That's an issue for a PL centre half but you can get past it if you have very good positional sense and decision making skills. Unfortunately they are the weakest parts of his game. Kenny is the same, people clamouring for him to be given a new contract on the back of a couple of decent games and just ignoring the fact that he isn't magically going to improve his speed, strength or ability on the ball at the age of 25.

This isn't knee jerk as I've been consistent in this, he's not good. Poor positionally, can't header, poor distribution. Can throw in a late tackle but.
