He will never make a CB. Not in a back 4 anyhows. He is very weak in the air and that's not an attribute a CB should have.

Bit harsh on a young kid playing out of position in a team of slugs.

He at least a showed some energy and endeavour in certain moments.

Edit: But yeah, his future is at centre half.

Well he was far from being our worst performer tonight, I gave him a 3 , only Stek with 4 got more in my rating , at least Baines had Rooney vaguely wandering into the left back area to offer support.
