Shame there wasn't one under the arses of a few players today.
It's right by where Greaty becomes St Annes; it had scaffolding round it for yearsHas the building been identified yet?
As long as it's not the student digs reported earlier. Insurance job by sounds of it. Just like Littlewoods. It's right by where Greaty becomes St Annes; it had scaffolding round it for years
Saying that, I've just watched the vid, it looks like the one next to it.As long as it's not the student digs reported earlier. Insurance job by sounds of it. Just like Littlewoods.
I think it was the one to the right of the one you circled, I walked past it on me way to lime streetView attachment 243757Think its this building which is now an abandoned redevelopment on Fox Street (at the end of Great Homer Street)
It's a horrible practice which permanently robs areas of their history and culture all for the pockets of a few. A familiar tale.My thoughts exactly. Horrific driving around older cities and suburbs and seeing that older buildings and houses have been flattened for yet another cheap, generic apartment building with zero character and everywhere now looks exactly the same. Councils won't do a thing about it here because a) it means more land rates and b) the councillors are in the developers pockets or have a financial stake in these places themselves. It's just rotten.
The fella that had the building insurance lolwhat caused it?
