Where's our 'new manager factor'? most teams go on a nice little run when the get a new manager, it rarely lasts, but you know, we've got nothing out of this so far.
I guess the only answer is.......... We are Everton :/

Played 3 lost 0. Had most possession in all games, restricted those teams to very few chances. We are still in a learning curve and you have to look at the positives as well as negatives

I dunno what people expect tbh. Stevenage was always going to be a hard game. Did people expect to steam roll them? We had 8 changes with quite a few making there debut. Stevenage have done quite a few giant killings in recent years. All we lack is cutting edge, it's coming. The passing was fast and slick, we moved it brilliantly, just didn't have the cutting edge. Judge the team after the Chelsea game, although under Mourihno they might park the bus as well

I wasn't expecting Stevenage to cut through us so easy, that's for sure

..slow, slow take your knitting to home games. Seriously, he's trying to introduce something new and it will not only take time but fans might also need to get used to a more patient approach. Gerry could be our pacemaker and Jon Stones could be a real parting gift from DM.

Lol wut?

Yeah.

We are creating chances in every game, it's the first few weeks of the season, let things adapt and by Chelsea on the 14th we will be in our stride. Go to West Ham the 21st and win there and beat Fulham in the league cup to progress us to the 4th round. What's our name?

a win is a win esp v lower opp in the lge cup( as far as our record is concerned)

however while not looking to ht the panic button so early in the season at times im really concerned how we are going

Does anyone no the reason for Jags substitution last night an injury or a knock.

In the press conference video today on the OS, Martinez said that we came through last night with no knocks or injuries, so it was probably just to give both Distin and Jagielka a half each ahead of the Cardiff game.
