In big bold letters where this season is going.

Which complete moron scheduled a friendly away against top class Premier league opposition the weekend before the season starts. A morale-sapping hammering
We have a very unhealthy relationship with that club they no doubt wanted a game with someone local and the RS and Man City obviously didn't entertain them so we step forward and meekly surrender as per usual

Put things into perspective QPR beat Utd 4-2 a week or so ago.

Pre Season results mean little in isolation had we not won the other 3 then you can worry.

The concern still is our squad is woeful and 4-5 good signings are needed.

If DCL is out for a few weeks it will be a real slog.

All of your posts are just ever increasingly drivelling snivelling excuses for your red hero benitez. I wonder if it's Everton you support, or is it just the fat rs hog.

You're talkin absolute nonsense man.

Koeman
Silva
Alladyce
Ancelotti

All of them struggled with this squad - when will the penny finally drop that whilst the above managers haven't been good at us they have also been let down by crap players.

Go get Eddie Howe or Graham Potter it changes nothing - Coleman will still be finished, Iwobi will still be crap, James/Allan/Gomes/Soggy will still be slugs who get bypassed by any functional PL midfield.

Walsh/Brands have put us in this mess no one else - shocking recruitment year after year will always catch up with you in the end.

Actually not as bad as the scoreline suggests and indeed markedly improved from the final few games of last season in some aspects.

Three goals:
1. Pickford mistake.
2. Digne marking Maguire from the corner.
3. Foul from Doucoure; quality free kick from Fernandes.

Pickford absolutely atrocious today and the United fans are aware of it; jeering every time he gets it, just waiting for the next error.

Townsend has been anonymous and Allan’s passing has been poor.

That aside, I’ve liked the look of Gray, but he’s being played in the wrong position.

We’ve also committed more bodies forward when in possession as opposed to last season and some of our approach play around the box was quite impressive.

We’re clearly lacking a centre forward though when the ball is in wide areas as highlighted by Digne’s cross into the box towards the end of the half which no one anticipated.

This is the season it finally happens lids.
The rs have paid their penance after last season.
Everything that could happen,has happened.
Surprised Bramley Moore is started tbh.
We're doomed.
