Yeah, I just looked on the Watford website as they’re away at Brighton today. I guess it will be similar with what they are having to do…

NFC Mobile Tickets

Brighton & Hove Albion are issuing all tickets for this fixture as NFC Mobile Tickets.

Once sales are finalised during the week beginning August 16, supporters who have purchased tickets for this game will receive an email from the Watford FC Supporter Services team.

This message will contain a link to download your NFC Mobile Ticket to your device. If you access the received message on the device you wish to store your NFC Mobile Ticket on, the ticket will download directly into the digital wallet platform on your device.
Multiple tickets can be stored on the same device by accessing the relevant email on the desired device and downloading that link directly to the associated digital wallet platform.

Once downloaded, NFC Mobile Tickets will sit in the digital wallet platform associated with your operating system. For iPhone users this is Apple Wallet and for those with Android / Google phones it will be Google Pay. This may have to be downloaded to your device from your digital distribution service.

Members of the Watford FC Supporter Services team will be on site at the Amex Stadium to offer any necessary assistance to supporters at the turnstiles.

Seems similar to what EFC are doing for digital home season tickets. Be interesting to see how this is going to work for Supporters Clubs etc who often bulk buy away tickets using other people’s customer names / credits etc
One of us always gets the four for our gang , presumably when you allocate them through ”friends and family” they’ll be sent to the relevant email addresses.

If i remember correctly, Liverpool are using NFC, and had all sorts of issues during their game versus Athletic Club.

I guess we'll see today with their game vs Burnley, and Watford away to Brighton, how swiftly it gets sorted.

So far from the club, they got Leeds dispatched on time, so they're doing okay.

That would be a logistical nightmare, i reckon.

I'm hoping it'll go through to the lead booker. The two lads joining me next week, aren't the lads on the ST holder name, if i've got to start calling round getting tickets I'll be raging lol

Looking for one Huddersfield away ticket, will pay over face value if need be. Best mate is a Town season ticket holder and would love to be there when we batter them

Anyone going by train to Brighton? If so what train back you getting, will I make the 18.09 from Brighton back to London?

Our plan is to walk to the next station as the station is a nightmare supposedly outside the stadium.

Think it’s about 1.5 Miles, so it’s not too bad. We’re on the 18:06 ourselves.

We have always got the train from Lewes back to London Victoria after a game at Brighton, think were on the 17.57 from there on Saturday, the station by the ground gets chocka but there seems to be plenty of trains put on so it goes down quickly.

Note to us, I know a friend who went to Brighton v Watford yesterday and they were checked for Covid passes / negative test results. I can’t say if this was just away fans or spit checks, but there were delays getting in the ground because of the checks
