Southampton being moved for TV is brutally unfair on the majority of our fans, as it is now on a Sunday at 4:30, meaning that there is absolutely no way of making it back to Merseyside on public transport, meaning anyone going will have to come back via the motorway, getting home well past midnight with a week of work the next day. I'd be very impressed if we managed to sell it out, even with a strong southern / London contingent.

Southampton game was moved to a Sunday long before any TV decisions were made owing to Southampton being in the Europa League

Also, you can fly back to Manchester. doing that myself - worked out at £99 for return flights from Saturday to Sunday along with sharing a twin room at The Premier Inn with a mate. Booked a while ago as it had been known we'd be on the Sunday for ages owing to Soton's Europa League involvement

Quick question regarding foreverton membership. I'm coming over for the Southampton game in January with my brother and was wondering if I can buy a second membership for him so I can get 2 decent seats together?

In fairness, Southampton have given us the biggest allocation we've received all season, despite having a smaller capacity than Sunderland, City and Chelsea. Sunderland went down to general sale as it was a Monday night televised game far away.

If you doubt Soton will out, what do you reckon are the chances for Hull?

As for the wider aspect of credit hoarding vs getting on the ladder, if Southampton does go to all STHs or even general sale, it will be only the second away game that anyone with fewer than nine credits from last season will have been able to buy tickets to. I've been running a little spreadsheet (because I'm sad) on the away ticketing requirements, etc, this season, albeit I couldn't find our allocation for the WBA game:

The system remains pretty much a closed shop. In order to get Watford tickets when they first become available, fans will require 7 away credits from this season. The only people who could have obtained 7 away credits this season will be STHs who attended at least 13 games last season.

Thing is last season 6 games went to General sale so anyone can have at least 6 away credits, wasnt there 4 home cup games last season? making 10 credits easily available, enough for 3 away games so far this season that sold out, you canadd Sunderland and Southampton to make 5 this season allready if you bought the tickets under Martinez last season.

The ladder is very easy to get on when we are playing badly, people only moan when we are doing well but where were they when we were ....

Can't see Watford making it past 5+ Credits to be honest.

Which is fine for me, as I have 5+ (6 after southampton!). It's a hard game getting on the ladder

I'd still be surprised if Southampton didn't sell out as it's a popular one for our Southern fanbase. Back in 2013 we played them on a Monday night so had the same issues as you mentioned there and we had 2,427 there according to Everton's official twitter. The fact this one is a weekend game makes it a bit easier than that night and our away support has actually picked up in recent seasons and tickets are only £20.
