I didn't read that to mean we were mid table but another team, whom he couldn't name was also interested.

Could be a misunderstanding perhaps.. but as it states in the intervju it says "and one more midtable", if it would have stated "and one midtable.." it would be another story. But true that might be down to not speaking the language that well..
