He’ll be thinking about the mansion down south and the mountain of white powder he could buy with his pay off and rubbing his hands.

Also Pochettino couldn’t do it at a state run club with good players, why would anyone think he could do it at one with crap players
Would have been successful sooner or later would Poch. He's won everything apart from the Champions League, same as Guardiola at City, yet he hasn't been sacked. Plus all it seems to take nowadays if get drawn against Liverpool and you'll probably end up controversially exiting the competition.

He surrendered their league monopoly to Lille in 2021 and they regressed in the CL, I think PSG thought they’d hired a pup and arguably they’d be correct

I think when it comes down to it he’s just not an elite manager
Not many of those around. Ancelotti, Simeone, Pep and Klopp, Conte, maybe Tuchel and Enrique. Zidane has the status the moment he starts winning somewhere other than Madrid. Mourinho used to be, but is no longer.

I'm just interested to see if PSG manages to nail down Zidane, or if the decision backfires spectacularly.

If PSG get Zidane in, doesn't he have a bit of previous with a couple of players on the books there? It's a shame they don't seem so keen on Kean anymore, but I wonder if there's anyone else they might look to tempt with CL football and a significant uplift in salary.

Wouldn't write him off for failure at PSG. Didn't emery and tuschel struggle there beca use they not really allowed to manage team?

Probably do great stuf f at other clubs

If you eyes arent suffering from hay fever, and feel like putting them through the mill...

This part lol

Pochettino: I went to one of Ney’s parties. Never in my life have I seen anything like it. There was a champagne whirlpool, a glass dancefloor, a laser archery range, miniature drones carrying trays of snacks. One of the guest suites had been turned into a petting zoo. I saw Marco Verratti riding a pig. Neymar himself was wearing a turban studded with emeralds. Eventually I had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom. There was a Tesla in it.

Flabbergasting. Can’t believe he’d write it, and the then the guardian would publish it
