As far as I know, Norwich have no long standing debt and they have been receiving parachute payments last season and their coffers will be boosted even further due to their imminent promotion. They will definitely sell him, because that's what they do and what Delia Smith was alluding to in the quote you included.

I could be wrong but I think the package to get him out of there (accounting for add-ons and the like) will top £35m. And I am really unsure if he's worth that so I hope we are keeping our options open.

18-20m initially, with add ons for number of games played, europa league qualification, champions league qualification etc. No doubt it will hit £30m if all that happens but it will have been well worth it if it does

Agree to an extent however modern fullbacks do need to contribute a threat going forward these days particularly when our main attacking tactic is get it out wide and whip it in to DCL

This season Celik has double the goals and think level with assists than Aarons despite playing nearly half the amount of games this season in a tougher league than what Aarons is operating in.

Celik is the better player and would be a hell of alot cheaper than £30 millions.

He has like five or six goals in his entire carer and is nearly twenty-five. You can say words like double, but double one is only two. It's not a big difference!

The issue is the DOF who's already spent £250 million to stand still could potentially overlook cheaper players with better outputs for a lazy option that costs more money.

I wouldnt mind Aarons at say £15-20 millions I've said that previously but for what Norwich want we can get better value for money imo.
