Our midfielder with Doucs, Allan and Hamez, less so.

Am I crazy for thinking the most important thing to sign this summer is a proper James backup? Hopefully someone who can play with him too but someone to take the playmaking role when he's inevitably hurt.

We need a Pirlo, a Moutinho, a deep lying playmaker rather than a 10, IMO.

And a RW to replace Hamez.

James has kind of been more of that than a creator at times this year even when he's playing RW in that little pregame chart

Again I have a tough time keeping track of when our support is largely critical of the midfield and when it isn't. For me the switch doesn't flip because I can see for example that despite beating West Ham they were largely crap.

Anyway this is Aarons and I'm glad we're staying disciplined on price.
