How do you impress in a freefalling team?

That's what Watford were for the large parts of last season. Had the league not been so poor, they'd have probably went down. Went to Watford as he respected Mazzarri, and told them he wanted to go as soon as he left.

Seems ambitious, and going to Milan was the wrong move for him. Worth a go, a rough diamond, if you will.

when i saw him at watford i was thinking "we dodged a bullet", so it would be a tad annoying if we got him, but i'll support him, think he's that exact frame koeman wants, i do worry he's very similar to deulofeu in his weaknesses though. But on the plus side, he is one of those supremely talented players who could just click and be utterly unstoppable and their value will sky rocket towards that £40m mark sort of figure, like mahrez, for example.
Niang will actually attempt tackles unlike Geri, so he already has him beat in that regard. I am more concerned about the mental side of the game with him. He commits a lot of fouls too.

This could be a Barca trick.

For you young'uns out there: Barcelona where once trying to negotiate a deal to bring Rivaldo in, but he was arsing about. They turned their attention to Steve McManaman (lol) and agreed a fee with the RS. Poor old stevie flew to Barca but was left in the airport because Rivaldo had a sudden change of heart. The delegation to meet stevie boy where instead now in Deport with Rivaldo

Are we trying to force Sandros hand??

"Niang has never scored more than 5 goals in a season"

I would counter with Niang scored 3 goals in 4 starts in his debut season at the age of 16 for Caen. And that he has managed a maximum of 17 starts in the league in a season to date, so 5 is not so disgraceful. And also that he's been employed on the right-wing (probably due to his age, just like managers like employing young centre-backs at right-back when they're young to ease them in).

He has amassed a total of 8562 minutes in his career for various clubs in the champions league and league games to date. That averages to 95 ninety-minute matches, and if you consider that, and the fact he plays right-wing, not striker every time, and has played in 3 different countries, then 24 goals in 95 matches in not so bad for a 22-year-old! His physique, height, and technique make him a player with huge potential. Not saying he'll be a Thierry Henry but who knows?

I end with this, Thierry Henry scored 31 goals in his first 160 appearances for Monaco and Juventus in his first 5 seasons as a professional footballer. Then he failed to score in his first 8 games for Arsenal!

He was a bit crap wasn't he?

Didn't turn out for McManaman in the end did it?? 2 European cups and playing with the Galacticos. Niang will have a similar effect just you wait.

He's a bit of a character. He's already wrapped his Ferrari around a tree and jumped off the roof of his house into the swimming pool. I'm excited.
