Mercato must've been reading GOT. I can't believe the club would miraculously come to that conclusion just now. His goal numbers and consistency haven't changed overnight.

It's just an excuse which sounds better than we didn't realise he was such a bellend on social media and we don't want someone who could potentially be a primadonna in the changing rooms
